What you do

You are responsible for building and developing the entire data infrastructure in a fast-growing startup and you play a key role in shaping the transformation of Wandelbots into a data-driven company. 

  •  You are responsible for building and evolving the company-wide IT data architecture and infrastructure (data warehouse, data pipelines, aggregated data sets, etc.) to enable Data Analytics and Business Intelligence solutions 
  • You support strategic decisions to develop the IT landscape for analytical and BI solutions and in building and interfacing an aligned, holistic, data-driven IT landscape 
  • You define company-wide IT data architecture specifications and guidelines and you have an eye on long-term data interfaces throughout the company 
  • You bundle and aggregate data from diverse IT tools and make the data easily accessible for business users in their usage in data visualization tools like Tableau 
  • You investigate and implement internal process improvements, e.g., Azure forms services for automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, etc. 

What you need

  • You have 3+ years professional experience in creating enterprise-level IT architectures and are now looking for new challenges in an agile, high-growth environment 
  • You have a good university degree in (Business) Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Analytics or equivalent  
  • You have several years of experience in setting up data architectures and ideally in the application of cloud technologies e.g., as a software architect, data architect or data engineer 
  • You have proficiency in querying complex raw datasets for analysis using SQL, Python, Java or similar 
  • You are experienced with data pipeline architecture, data modeling and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau) 
  • You offer a good combination of business process and IT system competence in the field of analytics, BI and/or statistics 
  • You are good at explaining technical concepts and analysis implications clearly to varied audiences and you are able to translate business objectives into specific data architecture requirements 
  • You have strong analytical capabilities combined with a pragmatic spirit, an entrepreneurial mindset, and a can-do attitude 
  • Fluent in English
